Three Lowcountry Mayors have officially endorsed Tim Scott’s candidacy for Congress, citing his core principles that will help bring America back on course.
The three, Mt. Pleasant Mayor Billy Swails, Goose Creek Mayor Mike Heitzler, and Lincolnville Mayor Tyrone Aiken, each noted that they had worked with Scott in the past, and were impressed by his deeply held convictions.
“Tim Scott has a proven record of consistently supporting lower taxes and limited government for nearly a decade and a half,” said Swails. “Those of us who have worked closely with him know that Tim is an authentic conservative with deeply held convictions. They’re all good candidates, but Tim Scott is the best.”
Heitzler believes Scott will be an asset to local communities, and will remember the taxpayers. “Tim Scott will never forget us,” said Heitzler.
“Tim Scott has displayed a level of courage that is rare indeed among today’s elected officials”, said Aiken. “As the only candidate with real legislative leadership experience, he’ll be able to make a difference… not only for our towns and communities, but also for our nation.”
Scott has also been endorsed by a number of conservative organizations in the last two weeks. According to FEC reports filed last week, Scott is leading the other eight candidates in fundraising for the upcoming June 8th Republican Primary.
